We tried to find/buy this "adapter" locally but as usual, had no luck.. But I bit the bullet and looked on-line and found Pirsum Jadaica--what luck--the adapter is beautiful and fit my recently turned candlestick (once I removed the rubber spacer) and looks great!

Candle holder adapter
Was still a little big for my candle, so I melted some candle wax in the bottom to hold it in place. Otherwise, good idea. Just needs a little more options in size.
